Monthly Coffee Date - May

Monthly Coffee with Riz

Hi Reader!

It's time for our monthly coffee date!

Grab a cup of coffee (or maybe your favourite chai?) and I'll give you a little rundown of things you may want to be aware of this coming month, as well as a quick update on what I've been up to.

What's been happening with me

What did I do in April? I worked, I slept, I broke my pinky finger (don't worry, bestie! It's much better now), and I read a few comic books after years of not touching even one.

Oh! And I met up with some childhood friends. I don't get to see my old friends often (maybe once or twice a year at the most), but it's always lovely when we can make it happen.

Wait...can I see you?

Yesterday, I went to the optometrist and had a very overdue eye exam. Turns out, I still need glasses (more than before actually). So I'm waiting for a new set of lenses!

Comment of the Month

"This is the second time I’ve made this cake. The first time I made it for a picnic with my best friend, and the second time I made it for my daughter’s birthday. Massive hit both times!" - Margaret on Victoria Sponge Cake

Coming up in May

I'm hoping to have 4 new recipes coming out this month, with the first one coming out this Thursday. It's an elegant little dessert that's perfect for chocolate lovers. (Don't tell anyone I told you, but you should look forward to a beautiful pancake recipe towards the end of the month!)

May 4th: Star Wars Day (May the Fourth be with you!)

May 12th: Mother's Day (North America)

And now it's your turn to hit REPLY and let me know what's happening in your life.

See you next month!

Riz

Grab a cup of coffee (or maybe your favourite chai?) and I'll give you a little rundown of things you may want to be aware of this coming month, as well as a quick update on what I've been up to. What's been happening with me I did something a little out of character in February. I went on a winter holiday! Usually, as a summer child, I go looking for warmer climates whenever possible. Last week, I put...

Grab a cup of coffee (or maybe your favourite chai?) and I'll give you a little rundown of things you may want to be aware of this coming month, as well as a quick update on what I've been up to. What's been happening with me I started the year running! I don't mean physically running (I refuse to run if nothing is chasing me), but work-wise. My day-job has been busy, and it's definitely meant that...

Monthly Coffee with Riz Chocolates & Chai Hi Reader! Happy 2024! It's time for our first monthly coffee date of the New Year. Look at us hanging out on the first day of the year. I'll love that we could find a little time for each other today! Happy New Year! Can you believe it's already 2024? I hope you had a wonderful end to 2023. We didn't do anything crazy. We had a small Christmas party with a few friends, and were taking care of a friend's cat so it was a quiet start to the new year....
